Wisdom?

Okay, I'll take the bait.  John Paul Stevens is wise?  I don't think so.  There is something decidedly and deeply unwise---tragically and, indeed, lethally unwise---about purporting to infer a right to kill unborn children from the constitutional principle that no state shall deprive any person of life liberty or property without due process of law, or from the prohibition of laws respecting an establishment of religion.
